Todays first download is a superb set by Paul Simon that was recorded at the Greek Theater, Los Angeles in 2001. The quality of this boot is fantastic... really top notch. PS plays some great tracks from both his early days with Art Garfunkel, as well as more recent solo stuff. He is briefly joined onstage by Paul McCartney for the track "I've Just Seen A Face". Some slight differences in the songs from the studio released versions... this is great stuff... thoroughly recommended.... Here is a download link I found for :- Live at The Greek Theater, Los Angeles, CA 13.6.01 - Paul Simon (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 That's Where I Belong Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 147MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Enjoy! Todays second download is a set by Bob Seger that was recorded on the Retro Rock FM radio show in 1974 - although it wasn't aired until the 90's. This is an early Seger show that concentrates on his blues roots, and features 4 unrecorded songs - J.J Cale's "Bringing It Back From Mexico" , Houndog Taylor's "See Me In The Evening", Albert King's "Don't Burn Down The Bridge" and the Seger original "Full Circle". If you like Bob Seger - this is a must have...... Todays extra download is a bootleg by The Eagles that is an audience recording. The show was in Tokyo, Japan in March of this year. For an audience recorded show this is fantastic - a remarkable bit of taping. Instruments and vocals are high in the mix and sound great. The artwork is also fantastic - whoever made this went to a lot of trouble.... this is a large download but I reckon it's worth it - especially for an audience recorded show.... Here is download link I found for :- Live at Tokyo Dome, Tokyo, Japan 5.3.11 - The Eagles (Bootleg) Quality : Excellent Tracklisting : CD 1 CD 2 CD 3 Download Links : Filesonic : [Link] or Fileserve : [Link] NB: Both links contain the full album - you only need to download from one of them. Here's the new one by The Prodigy which will be released next week. This is just the audio from the release - there is a video which accompanies it. This was in one long mp3 file when I downloaded it, so I've split it into seperate tracks at 320kbps - added the artwork and made a playlist file for it... grab it quick!...... Todays first download isnt a bootleg but it is a live album. This is the latest by Simply Red - called Farewell. It was recorded live in concert at the Sydney Opera House last year. Some classic SR tracks on this one. This is the audio only - it's also available as a double disc set which also contains a dvd of the show.... Todays second download is a set by Canadian rockers Rush that was recorded in St Louis, Missouri, in 1991. This is in superb quality and is a wicked set by the band. I've posted many boots by this band over the years - dozens, and I was surprised not to find this one in my files. I couldn't see it listed but boots often get renamed and get new artwork... but I couldn't match the date - so I guess it's one for the collection.... grab it Rush fans.... Here is a download link I found for :- "Row the Boats" Live at The Arena, St. Louis, MO 7.11.91 - Rush (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : DISC 1 DISC 2 Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 111MB (Including Artwork, Tracklisting and Playlist Files) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays extra download is a short set by the Spin Doctors that was recorded at the Trump Plaza, New York in 1995. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM broadcast. There is some dj chat before a couple of the songs - but not over the music. According to my files, I've not posted any bootlegs by this band before and I've only posted one studio album which was a Greatest Hits compilation. The band play their two biggest hit singles - "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong" and "Two Princes". This is thoroughly recommended... Live at the Trump Plaza, New York City, NY. 13.1.95 - Spin Doctors (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 Little Miss Can't Be Wrong Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 31.6MB (Including Artwork) Enjoy!
