And what a swerving bunch of Utter, utter nonsense. BJ and Rees-Mogg were both Tory rebels themselves when May was trying to pass her deal, and they both voted against it more than once; why were they not expelled? Some of these 21 who expelled voted in favour of May’s deal, so this notion that they’re anti-democratic, and trying to subvert Brexit is just more nonsense. I find it beyond parody for someone to sit there calling MPs self-serving, back-stabbing, lying and spoilt whilst throwing their support behind Boris f***in Johnson.

What are you on about ,again! If you don't trust experts then more fool you. I tend to believe people I know have more knowledge than I do on specific subjects. That's why I consult a doctor rather than a plumber if I have a medical issue and a plumber rather than a doctor if my pipes burst. Whilst not every doctor will agree on the best course of action there is usually a consensus. It's no different with the impact of a no deal Brexit. The overwhelming opinion of the experts is that it will cause long term damage so should be avoided if at all possible. Playing who blinks first on the edge of the cliff is not wise politics.

Well it's lucky we didn't trust the experts and go into the euro single currency!!

You are obviously following different experts to me as none of the opinions that I have seen state that there will be long term damage unless there is no intention of trying to forge a trading arrangement

But they rebelled regarding something that basically has killed any chance of the UK getting a better withdrawal than the one repeatedly rejected by Parliament. Boris Johnson was absolutely spot on with his tactics with the EU who were starting to believe that he would carry No Deal through. It was music to my ears as a leaver. This deserved the support of Parliament irrespective of their personal views on BJ. If not all then at least including the rebels plus those who were prepared to put this fine Country first before politics.

I can't keep up with all of these twists and turns. I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here, but I did read that one route to a GE would be for the government to perform a vote of No Confidence against itself. Though then we could get the surreal situation where the government is voting No Confidence and other parties are refusing to support it.
