Andre Ayew has given me bad memories of bAdebayor. My main grievance against Adebayor was the fact the only goal I saw him score was that header against Watford (I think) and I was trying to roll a fag in the Arthur at the time. I was torn between finishing the job and celebrating wildly. Did neither successfully in the end. The full pitch sprint to celebrate in front of the Arsenal fans never fails to amuse me though I must say.
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

The point of adding two midfielders is depth. Maybe neither will be as useful as Hughes has been recently, but if Doucouré went down with injury, we might easily go down in flames. Neither of these lads is Doucouré, but they add insurance as well as options.

I'm the same as you - can't remember much except being annoyed with his lack of effort or energy.

If both were awful it wouldn't be the end of the world however we've literally halved the risk by signing two. Both may equally come good and if so happy days. I'd also be inclined to buy into the suggestion NA and ASL will relish the chance to work under PV and he himself may even have some insight into what constitutes 'good midfielding'!

Just been reading that we bid 30 million for Vitinha from Braga but the player chose Marseille instead. Maybe we were bidding a lot more than we know for players.

I don't think we will see Jimmy in a first team shirt again. I hope he stays on as a coach or something but feel he will go back to Scotland

I do hope he'll prove me wrong because he's been great for us and it would be lovely to see him go out on a bit of a high.
