No Sainsbury's or Waitrose down this neck of the woods....Morrison's Tesco's and Asda...oh and frigging Lidi. Wisbech....the armpit of the fens. I meant arse-holistically.

I had a requirement to visit my local 'Waitrose' this afternoon and joined a queue outside the store. The weather was warm with the sun beating down.A Waitrose employee was deployed to hand out free bottles of water to those who wanted some refreshment in the heat.Later a gentleman deployed on the door to the entrance walked alongside the queue with umbrellas in a box enquiring if anyone wanted to borrow one to act as a shield against the sun. It’ll be Pimms by June.

My dear wife and I haven't frequented Tesco's for several months. Apart from Waitrose we also frequent Sainsbury's. Edited by Willo (09 Apr 2020 8.48pm) ‘Sainsbury’s is good for keeping the riff raff out of waitrose’ goes the joke.

Not me but we could see intermittent lockdowns, because we seem unable to make calls on refusing flights in from certain places. Allowing flights in from Italy and China was complete madness.
