He said, Dortmund. I said my Grandad liked the view of Dortmund from 30,000 feet in the 1940s.

I heard Matthew Syed say he was sat on a bench in Richmond and these 2 young boys were discussing whether Bernardo O’Highins was a slaver & if they should pull down the statue of him. [Link] Matthew stepped in and advised them he liberated Chile. They then said they were all a bit dodgy or terrible back then or something so the statue should come down and be removed.

There was some bonehead on Sky tonight claiming football is “elitist” which must be why it’s so hard to play for all the old Etonians.
