Pretty sure that is not correct. You will lose out on increases but not seen anything related to the above. From 2021, UK retirees wishing to live in an EU country will find it harder to secure residency as the EU applies rules for retirees from outsidethe bloc, and you may need to prove fairly high incomes (25,560 euro in Spain). and private medical cover! So the old style OAP"s wanting to retire to Spain or Portugal is over, unless they can have £25k coming in every year!, plus private medical insurance! This winter, our british oap"s are looking at eating or putting the fire on- the £25 k per annum to move to the EU is but a dream! But to be fair- most of them voted for it. so call it karma!

Why is that such an imposition? And you could apply for a passport from an EU country if it was so troublesome. I doubt there are a meaningful number of retirees who never leave the EU in a 90 day period You think someone retiring in the sunshine, perhaps in their 80"s , wants to leave every 3 months to come back to blighty in the cold, perhaps with nowhere to stay- only to return back to the sun 90 days later? And repeat every 90 days? Do me a favour HK, I find it a pain going to the airport once or twice a year at my age, that"s why its such an imposition!

What a joke, just like when all of a sudden they all became libertarians when private companies started censoring their political opponents. Edited by Stirlingsays (04 Oct 2022 6.11pm)

I saw that program where the nurse had the outburst, a debate officiated by Jeremy Vine. Present polls showing Labour leads of 20% plus are accurate if the studio audience are anything to go by. Only 1 guest did not want a general election and hardly anyone said they would vote tory again. The chaos unleashed by Kamikazi Kwasi and librium Liz is driving people away from the tories en masse.
