Sometimes I wonder if we're all focus in doing what's the best for Palace or some of us put their bets in first place! If it isn't let me tell you it seems so... COYP

COYP Who do you actually want to manage palace? You keep spouting rhetoric about Dyche but if your for say Pellegrino have you even followed his career or watched any of his teams?

In fact for anyone who isn't aware lets take you through Mauricio Pellegrino's record as a manager; Sacked at Valencia - Not going to knock him too much for this because it's been well documented that they have been a disaster for quite a while. Estudiantes - Got sacked after two years - didn't exactly pull up any trees. Independiente - slightly better record but didn't do anything momentous and only stayed there for a year. Alaves - finished 9th and got to a cup final - great achievement and it's this alone that persuades me that he's the best man for the job (having watched quite a few games of their's this season I have been impressed). HOWEVER; those that are negative in the Dyche camp and pro Pellegrino need to look at this objectively and realise that there isn't really much between them.

If it was realistic Tuchel, Roger Schmidt, Pellegrino in this order. Of course there's lots of issues that influence the decision so I don't have one name only. Edited by Portuguese (09 Jun 2017 9.49am) We have got absolutely no chance of appointing Tuchel and anyone that believes we have is delusional. Schmidt - I have not really watched much of Bayer so not sure if they have improved under him. However I believe his english isn't great which instantly becomes an issue. I just don't get the vast negatives against Dyche. He's often on radio 5 live and having listened to him debate about football he speaks a huge amount of sense. Yes his away record is horrific but how much of that is due to the make up of his squad? I have not got totals for his away form in the championship but assuming it's far better. You can counter this by saying his home form is superb (one thing we have really struggled with in last few years) if he can marry the two together then we will shoot up the table.

I understand yours perspective. There's plenty of managers saying things that makes sense. But in top of that is how you translate that to the field. How able you're to make a team being better then just the sum of the parts. Plus factor that makes the difference. I agree that Pellegrino until now becomes short in what I just said.

Cash out then. I am guessing/ hoping that there will be an announcement early next week. If it really is a case of Pellegrino or Dyche, I wouldnt mind either of them, and hopefully either of them would work with Lee. Time to get on to transfers under a new manager!

Yes, but if you marry them together the wrong way we will disappear into oblivion That is a very good point. My concern is that, if appointed, he tries to impose his favoured system (4-4-2) on us regardless of the circumstances and I can't really see either Townsend or Zaha "tucking in tight" or Benteke "running around like a blue-arsed fly".
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |
