A well-orchestrated campaign might do some good, to be fair. Sainsbury's can never know what hits their top line. They can only make educated guesses. Something that gained traction here, on social media, the BBS, and had a quality website could make them stop and think. Tesco is a good rival. Edited by Ginger Pubic Wig (24 Feb 2020 6.11pm)
If you want to live in a world full of kindness, respect and love, try to show these qualities. |

Except of course that organisations tend to respond pretty quickly to negative PR that hits their brand especially if, in the bigger scheme of things, the issue seems relatively trivial - as per the Lloyds situation in 2010.

It's just another Parish BS; without the US money he can't afford a container to micturate in and blaming Sainsbury's and the Council is his way of deflecting criticism away from himself. No one in the big, wide world will give a stuff about a PL football club whining that it's short of cash and can't afford it's massive new stand. We seem to be developing a massive sense of self-entitlement. As I've already pointed out, Sainsbury's owe us nothing; we sold them the land and, if we want it back, we'll have to pay what they're asking or come up with a less ambitious, and frankly more sensible, plan.
Bexley Dave Can you hear the Brighton sing? I can't hear a ******* thing! "The most arrogant, obnoxious bunch of deluded little sun tanned, loafer wearing mummy's boys I've ever had the misfortune of having to listen to" (Burnley forum) |

Let's get real for a minute; who are all these Palace fans who could take a week off work to blockade a supermarket? And also being real...this stand is never going to get built is it...

This article offers an insight to Crystal Palace Park, and the financial burden to Bromley Bromley have no money for the park, hence the quote, "Bromley Council's Peter Morgan said money for restoration would also be "generated by the sale of sites on the periphery of the park" currently subject to planning permission." (BBC website) This is going to incite a reaction from the Crystal Palace Community Association, and it is likely to be ferocious. The CPCA is a hard-core of nutters who would rather the whole park be left to decay, than be actually used.
I disengage, I turn the page. |
