Todays second download is a set of demo's by Ray Davies that were recorded in San Diego, CA in 1988. The demos are from RD's album "80 Days" which is his musical version of Jules Verne's story "Around The World In 80 Days". It was six years in the making and the show was first performed live on August 23, 1988 at the Mandell Weiss Theatre, San Diego. RD is credited with writing the music and lyrics. This is in superb quality and is a great show... The notes inside the file explain the story in more detail. This is one for all fans of Ray Davies.... thoroughly recommended.... Todays first download is an acoustic set by Sammy Hagar and the Wabos that was recorded live at The Pageant, St Louis, Missouri in June 2007. This is in superb quality and the audio has been taken from an FM radio broadcast by KSHE 95 FM. The gig was to promote the release of the bands dvd "Living It Up". This show has been edited to take out some of the language... Sammy if very proficient at dropping the F bomb. There is a lot of Sammy chat during the show - most has been removed as his voice was going towards the end of the show.... this is thoroughly recommended..... Here is a download link I found for :- "Livin' It Up" At The Pageant, St. Louis, Missouri 20.6.07 - Sammy Hagar & the Wabos (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01 - Intro Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 63.7MB (Including Artwork and Tracklisting) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays extra download is a short set by Bad Company which was recorded in California in September 1974. This was while the band were touring in support of their first album. They played a short set for ABC TV's "In Concert" TV programme - just 3 songs. They start with "Can't Get Enough" then "Movin' On" and ending with "Ready For Love". Three wicked songs - and a really nice set.... Todays first download is a solo set by Greg Lake. I've not seen a solo boot by Greg before, so I immediately grabbed it - then I found it was a King Biscuit Flower Hour Show - so I knew that it would be a quality sounding show.... and it is. It sounds superb and is a wicked set. He starts with a couple from his days with ELP, then does a cover of "Parisienne Walkways" before finishing with a couple from his days with King Crimson - and a cracking version of In The Court Of The Crimson King..... this is thoroughly recommended.... a top bootleg...... Here is a download link I found for :- In Concert : Live at the Hammersmith Odeon, London 1995 - Greg Lake (Bootleg) Quality : Superb Tracklisting : 01. - Medley- Fanfare for the Common Man-Karn Evil 9 (6:10) Download Link : [Link] Filesize : 140MB (Including Artwork) Back Cover : [Link] Enjoy! Todays extra download is a set by Joni Mitchell that was recorded at the Southern Illinois University in 1969. For a bootleg thats over 40 years old this is in superb quality - really top notch, but it has been remastered. Joni plays a great set which includes a fantastic version of the hit "Both Sides Now". This is thoroughly recommended......
