That would be excellent. Agree. Wouldn’t be surprised if nothing else but the extra resources in midfield is at least the most pressing need sorted IMHO. Far less agitated now was committed to nothing
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

That would be excellent. Screwing Everton for an inflated fee for JPM would be gratifying; not sure player wise we'd get much more than like for like. It's the investment in enabling dominance to turn into chances (we hope) that's the main thing and as others have said that should make our strikers more prolific.

I have to say, beyond any Palace incomings, Everton selling Gordon and not signing anyone may just be the transfer window I needed for inspiration. They look to have screwed themselves barring any 12th hour announcements.

I am inclined to disagree. Have a butchers at BBC and see where even the journalists themselves have mentioned they are overrun with irate texts from Everton fans. The evertonian world is furious and I am inclined, despite sincerely hating them, to empathise with their anger.

Sometimes quantity doesn't win. They may not have done much elsewhere, but I'd happily stand up for Alex Marrow, Stuart O'Keefe, Owen Garvan, Lewis Wright and Dean Moxey. That season after the 2010 buyout when we started with about 7 players was so important. If we'd got relegated we'd never have been seen again and that group, despite limited ability, put in an enormous shift to keep us up.

We will shortly see if the two main transfers are good investments. Fingers crossed gentlemen.

Why are we loaning players from other Premier league clubs who if they do well we can't buy?.
