It isn't correct that he hasn't tried other formations I've recently seen 4141, 451 and 433 it is quite popular also for teams to drop and pull during games anyway and a 4231 is basically a form of this happening in a 442 they just have the option, you need fit and able players though.

If Roy keeps us up then he will undoubtedly have done a job for us. The question for me is one of mindset, attitude and our approach to each game we play. We have played decent stuff in patches (first half at the London stadium in particular) so we are capable of getting on the front foot and playing attractive football - so why don’t we? That comes down to Roy’s general approach being cautious, negative and predictable. An unwillingness to drop players when needed, to change formation or react to a situation until it’s too late. I’m not Roy bashing or unappreciative of his efforts or the stability he has brought - I just don’t want us to play such dull, defensive stuff. It’s not Roy’s way to have a go, get on the ball, be proactive and show some ambition. It never has been that’s why I feel a change is needed. I don’t think it’s as straightforward as play they Roy way and survive in the Prem or relegation. A balance can be struck - as West Ham, Leeds, Villa, Southampton etc have shown.

Before we all get too excited about getting a much needed win, it should be noted that Wolves have managed 3 points in their last 8 matches, losing 5. So we beat a team with the worst current record in the PL. It could also be claimed that they were worth a point yesterday. We have far sterner opponents coming up. We may be well clear at the moment but a run like the end of last season, could make it nail biting. I have now sufficient funds to last me the rest of my life. Provided I don't buy anything.

Mr Hodgson is and was not intended to be the one you desire, that will happen when the club can afford to do it and hopefully we will see that happen when the new manager appears ...whenever that is. Ohh yes you are! Mr Hodgson is and was not intended to be the one you desire, that will happen when the club can afford to do it and hopefully we will see that happen when the new manager appears ...whenever that is.
