It would be daft to take chances on an adventurous manager with the squad we have or are likely to have this season. The players have huge potential, but we've seen what happens when things go wrong, and may not get away with it again. So I hope it's Dyche. He seems a safe pair of hands. He's not pony - just a little hoarse ;-) Open your eyes, look up to the skies and see

I respectfully disagree. Dyche would be a great appointment and build a legacy at palace. We need a manager who doesn't think he's doing us a favour a la pulis and big Sam. This would be ideal for Dyche.

Well I understand the need to be cautious. Neverthless it's time to take a step to the future. Of course that doesn't mean taking the club to dangerous paths. But we need to grow up and think that it's possible in next 10 years to get access to UEFA competitions. We owe this in honour of whole history of our iconographic club and to those who over the last 112 years have brought us here. So the time has come and Dyche represents the past not the future! Well I understand the need to be cautious. Neverthless it's time to take a step to the future. Of course that doesn't mean taking the club to dangerous paths.
But we need to grow up and think that it's possible in next 10 years to get access to UEFA competitions.
We owe this in honour of whole history of our iconographic club and to those who over the last 112 years have brought us here.
So the time has come and Dyche represents the past not the future!

The problem with legacies is that there's a chance of them being pish. Pardew's legacy took three months of hard work with detergent, bog roll and mops to get rid of.
