Padovano or Akinbiyi

waste of money !

Very harsh on Ade, he was never as bad as some thought, with a bit of support and confidence, he would have come good for us.

I would like to nominate Dele Adebloa however, for being unspeakably awfuil. The man was just about the most useless lump we have ever had up front.

Adebola had SKILL he just couldn't finish. But f*** me he couldn't half take it past people well.

Agreed, could hold it up, distribute and run pass people...as you say scoring record a bit iffy and could dissappear from some games...mind you link him with Vaughan and Zaha...

dont forget mick hill - beaney striker from ipswich
looked like beaker of muppet fame.

fell over like coco the clown in banana shoes every time he was passed to..
couldnt hit a barn door

Hill was transferred for £35,000 to Crystal Palace in December 1973, where he made 45 appearances, hitting the net six times.

He was a traditional target man for most of his career who earned the nickname 'Mick The Flick' for his propensity to move the ball quickly and with guile when he received it.
i can think of better nicknames for him but ill keep them to myself.

Mick Hill was a legend - Scored the only goal in a win over Preston in my first ever game in 1974...I dont think he ever scored again

Died this year I think ????

Carlo Nastri little right winger, saw him play for the reserves a few times and he was truly awful.Only made two first team appearances, that was enough.

Checked it out and he was 5ft.1.tall and was the smallest player in the football league at the time,he did appear comical at times though,as well as not being very talented.

That Upson bloke we got on loan from Arsenal was crap! He was said to have the potential to play for England. I remember saying to my mate that if he is England quality the three lions are in for a rough future! I wonder what happened to that guy?

Some bloke on page one said Speroni... Ah, the irony, just imagine if we were without the big Argentine now mate... Actually, that's probably, and sadly, not that far away from the truth... Please stay Jules (and don't read page one of this thread...)
