Olise is a great player but is not quite the finished article. He would be in a much stronger position for his big move if he stayed with us for one more season. The reason so many players fail at say Moan United is the fans expect too much too soon. Players aren't allowed to bed in. Already they are moaning about Hojlund and want him out.

That would make more sense than going to Chelsea. Have any of the clickbait articles mentioned why he'd want to go there after turning them down last year?
Why did he refuse last year? Possibly because he feared he would get little game time with all the other new players that had arrived or were arriving. His goal involvement stats in 2022/23 were good on the assist front (but mediocre on the scoring side). Although he had a truncated season with us in 2023/24 his goal involvement stats are such as make him a serious PL goal threat and he will expect to start ahead of Madueke and others on the left with Palmer moving into the No 10 position where he should thrive as well. Finally, let's also not forget that, like us, Chelsea ended last season well.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

So, according to click bate, how many clubs have we now sold him to? I suspect there may be rules on selling the same player to a fistful of clubs.

He's a left back who was on loan at Burnley when they won the Championship and then last season was on loan at Borrusia Dortmund and played in Champs Lge final against Real Madrid (made mistake for their second goal). I think most people have heard of him and is highly rated.

I'm sure it's pure lack of awareness on my part EE - it's enough trying to keep up with Palace and I don't pay much attention to other clubs anyway.

Bit annoyed I cant remember who reported it about half an hour ago but there was a very small piece on my web browser saying basically that despite reports to the contrary, Crystal Palace have not offered Michael Olise a new contract as it would set a president for any of Palace's other in demand stars that are attracting interest currently.
