When Glasner joined he made it clear that if the club was looking for a manager content to finish mid table season after season he was not that man.
He was crystal clear that he had greater ambitions and nothing in his behaviour since then indicates he was not telling the truth.

I think that even if we lose one or two players, Glasner will be given proper resources to push the club onwards.
For example ,if we were to lose Olise or Eze, a replacement may not have their exact skill sets but they could have significant strengths in other areas (e.g searing pace, directness, power).

The important thing is to have players who blend with others in the team and can carry as much threat to the opposition, even if they do it in a different way to Olise or Eze.

I don’t want to lose these brilliant players, but if we do I’m confident there are other excellent players who can maintain the team’s momentum.

Money from olise sale should go on back ups for munoz and Mitchel.

That feels like a very exciting team, and the makings of some strength and depth.

Assuming that Guehi and Olise go, that will be a hundred odd mill in the bank. So we could see the likes of Vranckx, Nusa, Bellingham in to give us some options from the bench.

Quite a thought that we'll be putting out a side with 10 capped players and some more on the bench. Come on France make it a full team.

If they go out against Belgium, I could definitely see Olise and Mateta getting chances. As I write, France have only scored twice in the tournament - half England's tally

None of us can foresee what the next few weeks will bring, but I believe we will lose both Eze and Guehi.
The loss of Guehi has been anticipated to an extent, but clubs are now being strongly linked with Eze ,and Glasner’s assistant manager recently acknowledged this fact in talking about preparations for the new season.
Manchester City are the latest to be linked and I could see this as their squad does need refreshment as players age/depart.

If Eze and Guehi depart (as well as Olise) , it will be asking a lot for the squad to hit the ground running , even if we bring in replacements..
Our two new signings are new to the country and new to the Premier League and may take time to acclimatise.

This is not to suggest that we will struggle as we still have a decent squad and highly competent manager.
However, we may initially lack the stardust that saw us blow away teams at the end of the season and make us look like European contenders.
I’m hoping that Franca will prove to be like a new star signing and fill at least some of the gap.

Agree with your comments, although IMHO Eze may stay.
The other factor which concerns me is the number of players who haven't had a rest this summer. 5 at the Euros, 2 at Copa America and Mateta at the Olympics. So that's the bulk of our team who won't have a decent rest. Players like Wharton are so young are still developing physically so it is unclear what impact this might have.
If after the Euros we give the players a 3 weeks break then they will only have 1 week of pre season prior to the Brentford game.
Clearly not ideal.

Everton have just turned down £50m for Brainthwaite. They are holding out for £70m.
Makes you wonder what Guehi would fetch.
