great result was robbed by the ref against liverpool and got the tuff decisions against man city , they must really hate playing us hehe , yes city was the better team , as i said after the Bournemouth sham , when we should lose easy we some how get a result , wasnt sure about eze coming on was worried even as late as it was , goes to show how all teams miss out on the big players , The scum next up take 1-0 win last kick of the game just love it when we do that against them , it will be a different game against them but we will be going in on a high , which im glad of COYP

Some of the comments just tell me that some of you do not know tactics play such a big part in the game. For instance Man City are, perhaps, one of the best, if not the best team in Europe, They can pass most teams to death if you just try and attack all the time. They also. when so much on top, try and walk the ball in the net so set up well defensively you can contain them somewhat. So please give Roy some credit for the result! I am with you on this we dont give credit were credit is due you win as a team and lose as a team and that includes us supporters ,

It should provide the perfect platform for our game against Brighton. Players will feel more confident , especially those younger players. Looking forward to Thursday

We got what we deserved . Brilliant game plan from Roy and the team carried out to the letter by all the players . Great run and cross from Schulpp that gave us the chance and the will to give it a go ,its mad that we could have actually won the game in the end . In Roy we trust .

We were like a boxer on the ropes absorbing punishment from a more powerful opponent, waiting until he punched himself out and then we struck. Franca looked very promising too as did Ozoh. Just like Muhammad Ali in the Rumble in the Jungle, the famous “Rope a dope”

Prepare yourself for Riedewald and Hughes This is the great concern isn't it? After seeing the youngsters stake a big claim for greater inclusion one can only hope that Hodgson has finally seen the light. At the beginning of the season there were a few disparaging comments regarding Schlupp and Ward, my comment to that was that they'll be the amongst the first names on Hodgson's team list. I was right. The one thing the injury list has done is shine a light on Hodgson and his tactical preferences and bias, at the very least it has meant he has had to adapt and include players he would never have included previously.

Team definitely needed a morale boost and some belief. To come back from two goals down at the Etihad, seeing Franca and Ozoh feature (playing well), Eze and Henderson back out there and two lateish goals will hopefully provide the confidence and belief to see us really compete with BHA if not beat them. Hopefully, for us as fans too, that pit of the gut feeling of doom many of us had will be slightly removed, we get right behind the fellas and roar them on to a new dawn! (That sounded a bit dramatic didn’t it, don’t care, still buzzing!) COYP!!!!
Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!! |

Seems as though our unexpected performance was just a bit too much for someone who couldn’t stomach the disappointment - Ian Wright: Match of the Day pundit to step down at end of season [Link]

Looked offside. Maybe Clyne's arse played Miss Grealish on ? I think his hand was behind his arse. They drew from the hand not his arse. We all know that if that was the other way round they would have found a way for it to have been offside Edited by Bexley Eagle (17 Dec 2023 10.04am)
