After a very impressive first season progressively worse finishes, which could be argued were due to lack of investment and a number of players whom were in their last season as their contracts were due to expire and they weren't going to be renewed. Or perhaps you think it wasn't necessary to replace Cahill, Dann, Kelly et al?
Actually, Roy inherited a pretty decent side, Cabaye / Townsend / Benteke / Sahko / McArthur / Zaha / Puncheon / Dann etc, all good players at that point in time - to say Roy had a worse side than PV is utter bollocks.

PV 12th / 12th (so far)
The rebuild was big task and is still ongoing, I think we have some way to go yet. My point is, again, just in case you didn't get it, that those funds had to be spent to replace those players that had departed, whomever the manager would have been.
Whether the funds were invested wisely, or whether PV has got the best with the players provided is another point altogether.

Last time I am responding to you as i said before delusional.

Two current center backs are international players and you flash out the likes of Danns and Punch LMAO as if they was top quality players.

He finished over multi seasons around the same spot you even showed this that is level Palace are at with almost no investment yet this new manager gets massive amounts does well and then awful (Pullis finished 11th with championship players he took over when we was bottom of league)

Ah you change your tune now. I cite a few players that Roy inherited (including a number of internationals) yet you say that Roy had a worse team than PV. Ha ha joker. Roy did well with what he had, I will say that, and I also think that what what Pulis did with what he had was next to miraculous, and personally I think he has been the best manager we have had in terms of getting the most out of what one has at one's disposal.
That huge investment you mention was necessary after the departure of those players out of contract. How many more times do I have to say this? Don't you get it? Roy didn't get that investment because either the money wasn't there, or if it was the board didn't feel it necessary to spend as Roy had inherited a good side that was in good health. And here we are again.
Have a nice evening.

No worries. If Palace go down we can be here discussing the cause till the cows come home, it won't change the fact that we've gone down. Therefore, hopefully, the players will realise that the time is now, and first up is a strong performance against Leicester. One game at a time.

Absolutely , and we really do have to come together , Selhurst must be a f@ckin fortress for the Leicester game , and regardless of our opinions on players we know we can drag the ball into the net

google Roy Hodgson and Patrick Viera, look on Wikipedia at their management achievments, Hodgson was/is a superb manager, Viera is a joke manager, 300k spent in 4 years at Palace and Nice and sacked both times, a delusional fantasist, he and Roberts are so awful its beyond belief, almost every player is shot of fitness and confidence because of them, nobody else, them.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

Agreed. That side of the game was entirely under their jurisdiction.

Frankly said I'm fascinated for how long we have stayed 12th in the table regardles of performances and results. It's like this magical act, floating virgin or whatever you call it.
