Agreed. Unfortunately for Rak-Sakyi, though, I believe he plays in the same position as Olise, so his opportunities are likely to be limited unless Olise is sold.

his end product is different to Olise, he is by no means an out and out striker but he was the joint top scorer in the U21/U23 league last year

this year he is now Charlton's top scorer and 10th top scorer in the league - he also has six assists which is 17th in the league

he is one of the hottest prospects in English football - and just so happens Wilf is at the end of his contract and even if he signs another one his body is starting to fail him

the stars have aligned and he is a replacement for Wilf ... in time - not 38 starts next season - and the attacking 4 is a striker plus Eze, Olise and Rak-Saki

Clickbait says Arsenal want Olise so JRS may get his chance after all.

I'm sure that I recall Parish saying that we won't let Wilf and Olise go in the same transfer window

I am also sure that Arsenal wont pay £40m for Olise they will try and low ball us unsettle the player and then go away when Parish stands firm.

More worried about Newcastle.

Personally I think Olise will need to improve some of the attributes that will make him the player that clubs would be willing to pay £40/50+ million for. I can't see Parish letting him go for less than that. If Olise stays I wonder whether JRS might just get a loan at a Championship club next season, rather than come back and potentially sit on the bench with us.

I'd be happy to see Killian Phillips come back and replace Luka or Jairo in the squad. He might not be the polished article, but he has a lot of spirit and fight.

I believe Jairo has another year on his contract and I don't see him going anywhere unless there's an acceptable bid for him.

Olise has 3 years left, we bought him for a bargain 8mill. 50 mill seems good value for his age. Let’s also say Spurs come for Guehi, he has to be 60 mill, which would triple our investment. With the feeling that Parish will run the club as a business and accept 100 mill profit on the pair. Personally as much as I’d hate to lose them both it does feel like good business sense. JRS tailor made replacement for Wilf so we’d be easily 100k p/week in profit on that trade off too

I don't see Parish letting both go this summer. As much as one might like the profit to be made, there is also the question of PL status. If you weaken your squad by selling proven PL players, you risk relegation. It's alright saying - "we have money to invest in new players" but you can't guarantee they'll make the grade. We have been very lucky in the main with the young first team players we've picked up over the last 2-3 years but the PL is littered with expensive flops.

Turning to your valuations, clickbait has suggested in the past that Spurs might pay £40m for Guehi. I don't see Levy going much higher than that (say £45m). As for Olise, who knows? The lad is potentially a sensation. I would hope Parish will see the potential and recognize that by holding on to him for another year at least he could get a lot more for him - and I mean really serious money (Didn't Man U pay £70m for Anthony, as did Arsenal for Pepe? Olise could go for more than that if he turns into an assists machine with a few goals thrown in).

Wilf is out of contract so there is nothing Parish can do if he decides to go. With Olise, this is football, if a good offer comes in and player has his head turned best to take it and move on.

Personally for all his undoubted talents he is still a work in progress and this may put off the top 6. He still disappears from games too much for my liking and his goal return is poor.
Another year at Palace will be best for all parties IMHO.

What about his assist ratio then? If he and Eze get a season together they might end up leaving together. But then we are talking about 150 mill. plus. They are that good....

Rob Street scored for Shrewsbury in their draw. This was his third of the season. He's played quite a lot so not a great return. Maybe a couple more in the run in and he could earn himself a contract in League 1 or 2

Scott Banks scored again for Bradford

Nothing of note elsewhere except to say there was no goal or assist for Jesurun Rak-Saki as Charlton were smashed 6-0. Put that one down as a learning experience.

40m is lowball
