Do they expect Lineker to wear a kilt or what? Scotland were knocked out and England are playing a Semi-Final tomorrow. For once the BBC has got it right in having an England bias.

I'm with the Beeb. Forget Scotland - they were beaten. Come on England. Wembley next.

Scottish TV had a completely different team of pundits for the England v Scotland game. Where as ITV had McCoist plus and English guy with Souness in the studio, they had an entirely Scottish line up.

Refs sometimes do that where there has been a battering and the losing side have shown absolutely no chance of recovering.

Put them out of their misery.

In the YT household, as 90 mins approached we all agreed that there couldn't possibly be any injury time as there had been no injuries. Then someone speculated that substitutions should generate additional time, but I confess that I don't know whether that's true or is a myth.

Both Spain and Italy look excellent.

One each

Let’s hope goes to extra time, wear them both out

Both teams are excellent

It's knock out football. The results clear. It's not like goal difference is going to come into play. Put them out of their misery and save us a couple of minutes of anaerobic cardio.

Much as I want England to win the thing I think you've just seen the two best teams in Europe....and the slightly better side lost.

Agree, however, thankfully it’s not always the best team that wins these tournaments.

True, I still haven't got over that awful Greece side.

Made Arsenal's 1997/98 side look like eleven Stanley Matthews.

Spain's finishing was poor. Their penalties were sh1te against the Swiss, they learned nothing from that it seems. All that possession wasn't enough.

Should England get through, I really worry that they'll struggle to deal with Italy's rapid and accurate counter attacks.

England play rather like Spain with the slow build up and dominating possession.

Let's hope their (hopefully) superior finishing power makes the difference.

Seems a bit harsh - What if someone would go on to score another? could be the difference between winning Golden boot or not.

What's worrying me is that people are already looking at the Final.
We have a difficult game tonight against a well-oiled, dangerous and - above all - motivated side.
It is by no means a forgone conclusion that we will win this.

Too many people are looking at Denmark, pundits, fans et al, and surmising that we'll win easy.
That's route 1 to having egg (and Danish bacon) on our Faces.
Lets just hope the English Team are fully focused on this evening.
