Might be on my own here but I like it. The diagonals are not too diagonal and the darker blue edging on the blue works well. Thumbs up from me.

Each will have their own view of course, and I haven't bought a replica kit for at least 20 years so in that sense it's no skin off my nose. At the same time (and probably more importantly) I have to look at it every week, and its a representation of the club to the wider world, so I am interested in this new kit. After careful consideration. I feel this is truly, almost staggeringly awful. It's so f***ing abject that I actually wondered if it was a joke at first. I can see now that it isn't, but yet I am still hoping to get an email from the club saying 'Gotcha! - here's the real kit!'. Why do football clubs allow some dickhead to f*** about with something that is so important as the kit? The simpler the better should be the motto, but its like they've been asked to push the boundaries of what might possibly be reasonable as far as they can, just for a laugh. It looks like a barbers shop pole, or a stick of seaside rock, or a bad acid trip. Or some hideous combination of all three.

It is so simple, red and blue strips, with yellow on the sleeves and collar If we were being true to original colours it would be claret and blue and yellow Where have all these pastels blues come from ?

I like the fact that the shirt has red shoulders and so balances up the red and blue. Last few years the blue was by far the dominant colour.
