As Parrish said on MNF. The new rules to the Champions League have snuck through under the noses of most fans. Just as abhorrent as the ESL imho. A `coefficient` over years used to determine who is in it. Not based solely on where you finish in your domestic season. You can guarantee that will mean a `smaller` club will be robbed of taking part. I hope we unite in condemnation alongside whichever clubs falls victim to it. Reminds me of when we were conned out of a European place so that Liverpool could come back in after the ban.

Having listened to the Real Madrid president I can see where he is coming from, but I don't think even more euro football is the answer. It is quite alarming if young people just don't want the Champions League etc. anymore. Maybe the brand itself is in danger, I can believe it.

I think he's wrong though.

Our 6 biggest clubs have all withdrawn and Arsenal have even apologised. This will probably be the end of it until JP Morgan starts issuing lawsuits. Still think thee be serious repercussions for their original actions.

They already win everything going 9 out of 10 times, they should clamp down on them to even things up, football was getting to predictable, chelse in 4 out of last 5 fa cup finals ?

Proceeds all being given to the bottom six clubs who survive relegation in the premier. That’s fair.

They have shown complete contempt for the PL, the fans and football in general that they should get nothing more, certainly domestically. Hopefully if there are any plans to offer more the other 14 clubs will treat it with the contempt they were shown.

Well that was pathetic. I thought this time the cynical six were serious they must have known they would face a backlash and to back down after a couple of days what a joke. They have now damaged their reputations with their own fans. Some of them are playing the victim and implying they were sandbagged by the others, cobblers. These discussions have been going on for months if not years and they all signed legal documents. They knew the fans would react but I think they under estimated Boris and all the other political parties making it clear they would be penalised. The House of Commons for once was united. Anyway there is now a window of opportunity I really hope that the governance of the game is sorted out. Boris should take the good will of the other parties and tell the FA to step up or step out.
