The amount of times players looked for a forward pass, found nothing, passed backwards then threw their arms up in frustration was hard to count. Is that tactics or just laziness? No excuse for that in Sunday league. Run into a space and show yourself for a pass.
Trump lost. Badly. Hahahahahahaha. |

I'm talking about finding a manager that will bring a winning home mentality to the team, one who has the ability to see that when things aren't working, he has the balls to make changes, and to progress this team higher than it currently is. RH has none of these attributes. Lower level defensive mediocrity, and it can only get worse, as he is a stubborn one trick pony. I would love him to prove me wrong, but home games this season seem to prove me right. I don't disagree with you. I literally said, I don't think he will ever take us to another level or that he's particularly revolutionary. But if we're flattering to deceive. After all this time. The blame lies at Parish's door. Going on history, that's not a very popular line to take on the HOL. But it's the truth. Roy is what he is. I wouldn't have picked him then. I wouldn't have him now. But he's a decent guy & he (hopefully) will keep us up this season. And calling for his head when the club has systemic issues that we're not actually prepared to address is pointless. What we gonna do? Hire another FdB, boo every pass to the goalkeeper and sack him after 4 games? I've said it for years. We will have to take a step back before we take a step forward. And sadly, I don't think that step back is one we're prepared to take.

PVA is a bad defender. Sunderland fans can tell you that. He is lightweight, he has no strength in the tackle. He was indecisive and let their player come inside and score the winner today. A stronger and better defender would not allow that goal. You might think you could console yourself by saying, “well at least he is an attacking force”. Well, he is not, and has not been all season. He causes moves to break down constantly with bad passes, wayward flicks and misplaced touches. He seems completely out of synch with Zaha whereas AWB and Andros find each other with ease. He is dogsh*t this year and has cost us goals and points on many occasions. Edited by Maine Eagle (09 Mar 2019 3.15pm) Our worst player this season. Needs to be replaced.

I saw a massive improvement under Pulis, and yet we haven't really progressed under RH, we seem stuck. If it carries on I can only see stagnation and losing our best players, which will lead to relegation. Time for a change if we are going to compete with the likes of Wolves, Bournemouth, Brighton, Watford etc.

I seem to remember Charlton fans wanting Curbishley out as they felt he couldn’t take them to this next level - where are they now? Today was a low amongst many highs that we get as fans supporting a prem team. Next week we have a quarter final. Who knows revenge could be beating Brighton in the final. Hodgson is the best manager for us. Enjoy this time in the prem as one day we will go down and will be a Charlton. But not for a while yet!

Sick to death of sitting at SP watching thd s**t performances like this one. Brighton were awful and if we can't beat teams like them at home, then something is seriously wrong.

So your logic is that because Charlton sacked Alan Curbishley 10 odd years ago we should be happy with underperforming now? How does that f***ing work then? What a ridiculous bit of whataboutary. Man city should have stuck with Mark Hughes by the same small mindedness.

'Tis the life a Palace fan I am afraid...!! Just when you think all is good and just in the world - we come up with a performance like today - totally cr@p..!! What hurts even more against Brighton live on sky and them t@ssers taken 6 points off us this season. On paper, player for player - we are miles better than Brighton - just unbelievable.!! We'll probably go on to beat Watford next week with a totally more energised and better performance. Then go onto premiership safety and maybe even an FA Cup Final. But even if we do all of that will not make up for for how sh@t I feel after today. I've just taught my 18 month Grandson to say Eagles with a fist punch - what have I introduced him into - bless him. Why do Palace put us through this season after season? As I said the life of a Palace fan..!! A very morose COYP..!!
