The little victories.

You're right of course. The result didn't really help or hinder the bigger picture. We're in decent shape though and have reason to be quietly confident.

Unbeaten in 3, another little victory

Just realised, Kouyate has to come back in the mix. So, assuming we keep a back four, have a single striker, Wilf and Andros left and right, we have Milivojevic, MacArthur, Schlupp, Kouyate and Meyer for 3 other places. Assuming Milivojevic is a shoe in, we have 2 from 4.

Today it was MacArthur and Schlupp, others might go Kouyate and Meyer.

Who would you choose?

Most certainly not European.

Schlupp and Meyer but don't think Roy would pick those two alongside Milivojevic

want to point out something i found uneasy today.

first couple of minutes, WHU got a corner, and there was one guy, on his own in block a, must have been maybe 50 years old, repeatedly screaming “c***” about 15 times at the player taking the corner, with 2 stewards in close proximity doing absoluty nothing about it.

what on earth makes a person behave in that manner?

i couldnt think how many games ive been to over the years but never, ever thought about doing that.

lots of our players go down very easily, and have been booked for it. rightly or wrongly its part of that game...BFCS was on talksport toger day saying he told his players to go down with any contact.

does that make it ok to behave in such manner? should that sort of behaviour be acceptable, or is it ok as its in a football ground.

Would love to have a player like Snodgrass for our set pieces.
Crosses the ball as soon as he can, not trying to beat a defender 4 times then cross it.
Antonio was a joke today, built like a cruiser weight boxer, goes down like bambi on ice. Pathetic.

Seriously, Snodgrass is an absolute lowlife.

Cheat of the highest order! Hull v Palace 10/12/16

This has now defined Snodgrass’ career and has quite rightly tainted him as the utter piece of scum that’s he is. No place for blatant cheating like his. And to then get up and take the penalty and celebrate like he did...Scum and he needs to be called out for it at EVERY opportunity!

Snodgrass is a cheat!

Should have won, but once again we get a point, very common circumstance.

I won’t watch the highlights as I cannot sit through watching MacArthur miss that chance ever again for as long as I live.

You must be watching too much American football, lay off Jimmy Mac everybody misses chances now and again,he normally takes his chances well.He is one of our best players in Roy I trust. The last twenty minutes were tailor made for Max when we were chasing the game and he played well.In other games he is too lightweight and ineffective .

Benteke was poor today but in fairness Roy’s patient slow approach play and reluctance to push players up to support him, or play the occasional high ball, negates his strengths.
Roy’s approach requires a mobile, quick striker and I think this is part of the reason we looked better when Batshuayi came on.
When Benteke played well under Big Sam we played more directly with balls played up to Benteke’s chest and head to allow us to build from there.
Roy does not play this way and I can’t see Benteke making a significant contribution at the moment.

i get why young / salah / capoue get stick but its hardly on the scale of wba v pompey 2005 is it? its fooball banter, but the latter is pure & simply s***house abuse.

if you saw somebody you didnt like in the street would you repeatedly scream c*** in their face? or is it ok as its in a football stadium?
