United are gagging for Wan-Bissaka. English, ties down a spot for a decade, relatively cheap on fee (cf e.g. Fred) and wages (cf any of their players) and Southgate probably won't tire him out/get him injured in summer tournaments. Is he up to 100 million yet?

I doubt we could bring in better than what we have in any position because you are up against fierce competition for every player. We could only buy more players to increase the options for certain positions but that would not improve the first eleven.

No, because having money and attracting top players are not the same thing.
I doubt we could bring in better than what we have in any position because you are up against fierce competition for every player. We could only buy more players to increase the options for certain positions but that would not improve the first eleven.

If AWB wants to leave IMO we should let him go, why keep a player who is unhappy and not being focused on playing for us. Just my opinion, I think our players, on the whole, seem very happy with good morale.

On the other hand, how about asking him to repay some of the faith the club has put in him thus enabling him to become a professional footballer, or asking him to honour his contract? Other than that not being what I argued, you are correct.

United, of course, are likely to be a prime example of this without being able to offer CL. Wan-Bissaka may well be happy with a six fold rise in salary and Europa Cup action after one full season in the Premier League
