Click bait story, is this the same journalist ( used in the loosest term ) that had Wilshire definitely signing for Fernerbache 2 weeks ago.
No direct quotes, just understands and believes.
I expect there is an element of truth that Zaha hasn't signed a new deal yet, but these negotiations always take time and are not generally played out in public.

I think also if Wilf wants to test himself against the top boys only champions league not international football is available to him and he wont get that here, One more season may see his value go up to Coutinho levels, so do all we can to keep him one more year.

“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn

I would love to be in a position to apologize to you in a week or so but somehow I doubt whether I will need to

easily led son, your easily led, whether your right or wrong, one piece of news has made your mind up about it and that's just poor going.

Some articles have the ring of truth about them and some don't. To my mind this one does for the reasons that I've already stated.

People believe what they want to believe, some need more convincing.

Wilf is in a position to play hardball. Who accepts the first offer in those circumstances?
If we were to sell Wilf it would be the dumbest decision since let's invade Poland.

TBF I think the later decision to invade the Soviet Union was dumber, as was the decision to attack the USA.

I actually doubt that this is about money. More likely Wilf can only see another season of firefighting ahead. And it’s hard to see anything else at the moment.

Exactly, and I cannot understand for the life of me why more effort was not made to keep Cabye. He will cost a kings ransom to replace like for like.
