So what will happen to Swarbrick? I'll give you a clue, NOTHING !! He'll be told he had a good game (big club won) and carry on the good work!

It was said during the game that in 24 games swarbrick has refereed this season he hasn’t dished out a single red card , he must be able to taste that end of season bonus of a book voucher and a subway meal deal for keeping a red card free clean sheet

The referee on BT sport seems to think you dont have to give a yellow for deliberate hand ball and thinks Swabrick got it right

that just shows he does not know the rules of the game.

this is from refs hand book

Disciplinary sanctions
There are circumstances when a caution for unsporting behaviour is required
when a player deliberately handles the ball, e.g. when a player:
• deliberately handles the ball to prevent an opponent gaining possession
• attempts to score a goal by deliberately handling the ball

the guy has been awful all season and shouldn't even be in the starting line up

For me having watched this today Benteke just devoid of any confidence - he doesn't know to stick or twist..!!

He should have buried 1 or both of those chances.

His overall demina doesn't help just looks so lazy and like he doesn't care.

Must be so frustrating to play with - if your someone like Milo who was excellent today.

I think we'll be fine given our run in and we continue to play as we did today.

But come the close season we've seriously got to get rid of the egotistical tw@t - as at the moment he is a liability.

No, did you not see him win the header to create the chance to win a penalty.

Yes, I saw his header. However Wilf's anticipation and pace created the chance.

I also saw Tekkers miss two gilt-edged chances to score again. Seriously, he's had so many clear cut chances now, they must be in double figures.

BBC seemed to think it was something like 20 'big chances' whatever that means...

Benteke just doesn't seem interested he did this before SA came in as well.

SA even commented on it but got him working again.

He strikes me as one of those players that he doesn't want to put in the leg work and will only put some effort in if the system is built around him to his suiting. (I think the system is wrong for him but Roy loves him and keeps saying he is doing great)

I expect he is low on confidence but the guys attitude just seems all wrong and by keep giving him chances with being selected every week doesn't help the rest of the team who work ass off at times.

All the midfield today worked very hard and got about the pitch.

Problem is playing good doesn't mean you get results as it has shown and the worrying thing is mentally they look weak which really is key factor fighting to stay in the league.

Not sure any one would take him no one came in for him when he was at liverpool but us in the end and even if we did sell him for same we paid who can you get for that money (we wouldnt sell him anyway Roy loves him and doesn't see him doing anything wrong he did the same with players when managing england look how that turned out)

They use the term 'Big' chances in the fantasy premier league, player should go on to score from a 'big' chance. That'll be 20 x goals missed by Benteke this season then.

There wouldn't have been any chance without the header in the first place. Granted, Benteke should have scored today from those opportunities but I wouldn't say they were gilt-edged. Still, no excuses for those misses

Agree apart from on we don't look weak that we're relegation material and I'd be shocked if we received £30mil for that lazy sh1t.

Have you ever stood in front of a goal in real life. They're enormous. I mean form that range its actually harder to miss than to hit the goal... he didn't even get his two chances anywhere near the goal!? I saw Jesse Lingard talking about the Man U academy this morning, where the kids are shooting at spots the size of a football on the wall from range. What was benteke shooting at as a kid? Barn and Door are two words that spring to my mind.

Two little kids hit the spots in the half time entertainment today.
Not sure what has happened to Benteke but he is awful at finishing. He lost us the game today with his misses. Wilf should have done better with his chance in the first half one on one as well and he seemed well off pace to his usual self today.
