He was training up to the Everton game then either the day before or on match day (can't remember) declares HIMSELF unfit to play. My suspicion is he's personally declared it a waste of time and himself until Zaha is back. There's been no statement or anything that he's not been training since Everton 4 weeks ago when he'd been training all week, the staff think he's okytonplay, then he decides he isn't and now he hasn't been training. Forgive me for being suspicious. Has he stretched his self diagnosis that he isn't fit to play to not training, after training fine up to the game he was deemed fit to play in after training 4 weeks ago?

I'm really on the confused with this one. I wont bore you all again with my sons experience but long and short, declared fit to play and clearly wasn't right and tore his ACL. If he had listened to his body would have been very different. Sakho has had his share of injuries so in the past so I want to give him the benefit of the doubt - the thing that makes it hard is having seen the press conference when Hodgson was clearly unhappy. then that said he's relatively old school so playing with injuries may be a thing that he considers okay. I don't believe he thinks its a waste of time without Zaha though - he's popular in the dressing room and I think that's unlikely if he considers his team mates with such disrespect. My feeling is that there is something afoot but what it is I have no idea what so benefit of the doubt till proven otherwise for me.

We don't know what gets said behind closed doors, maybe he's fallen out with someone?

I really hope he hasn't been slacking off as that cannot be tolerated whoever it is. The squad needs to be up for the run in, and if the rumours are true then this really will not help us at all. Personally I think it is the press again, but who knows with football players in the current world we live in...

My hope and belief is that he will be back for the run-in games where it really counts. Don't really care about today's match unless we are one up with 15 minutes to go.

Talking of injuries: poor Jonny Williams has gone off injured again playing for Sunderland; poor lad.
