Ward was mom by a country mile. One of his best matches for a long time. Sakho and Speroni also good. Townsend and RLC way off the pace today. In fact the whole midfield were poor. Zaha quiet 2nd half and Benteke is in desperate need of a goal as confidence rock bottom. No longer bottom so things are slowly looking up!

One or two attacking players would be a massive boost in January. We've got no way to invigorate our attack when the game starts to peter out.

Goodbye, Roy, Thanks and enjoy retirement. We will go down, even with another manager, but hardly with zero goals in 19 away games... Grow up !

We are building some consistency, and lets compare our situation to th end of September, with 0 points on the board. We are still bottom but tightly bunched. A couple of wins and we will be out of the bottom 3 and with 3 new players to come in in January. Lets respect the point

WBA got the wind in their sails in the second half but fortunately lacked the quality to punish us. It looked like we ran out of energy and ideas. For a change I think we should be happy with the point based on the second half. It's a shame as I think we were the better team in the first half overall.

I'm happy to take that considering the disruption to the team in the hours up to ko.
We move in the direction of our thoughts. |
