What actually happened on the build up? Didn't see what happened, nor the penalty itself.

Hodgson just in an interview saying it was a "unilateral" decision and that he doesn't expect players to change the decisions the management staff have made. If it is simply a case of defiance, then it really is unforgivable. As much of a must win game as you could ever get.

I heard on BBC London that Roy got into a row with supporters as he left the dug out and had to be hustled off and that Parish went down to speak to the fans involved.
