Pretty much every set price there was pushing and shoving, shirt pulling and diving. I think the red just thought he would just not give anything. Over the 90 mins it probably evened itself out. Happy with a point and the clean sheet

I really expecedt better from you kermit. After 7 games with us on zero points we were 5 behind swansea, 7 everton and west ham, 8 behind stoke and 9 behind WBA. Whose shoes would you rather be in now after this next seven? Everton v West Ham tomorrow. Kermit has a point. After the next 5 we play Arsenal and Man City. Naff all expected vs those.

Happy with a point and the clean sheet He's probably safest that way. If he gives something that turns out to be bollocks he looks like the idiot that reffed the Everton game. If he doesn't give something that he arguably should've he just says he didn't see it. Can't understand why refs guess. Doesn't make sense.

Im not saying it because it's Brighton but i thought they were awful tonight. I was expecting alot more from them. They were terrible from open play and only posed a threat from set pieces. We weren't quite up to scratch either but our first clean sheet of the season and first away point. Im happy with that.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

I thought that too.. said to one bloke at Selhurst tonight that I have no idea how they're in the top 10. Long ball specialists at best. Defensively organised, but attacking left a lot to be desired.

I agree that they were unlikely pens but on the Ramsay scale one could have been give. Outstretched arm, hand in the middle of the back, shoves Wilf across the line. I wish the refs would clamp down on this and the wrap around arms corner technique ...all illegal but allowed.

Well a ref isn't going to give anything for even the most outrageous manhandling at a corner if the ball hasn't been kicked yet. Once it's in play it's a different matter but until then he just has a word and holds up blowing for the corner to be taken until the players stop doing it.

Well organised and they don't get pulled out of shape easily but they don't take enough risks at times and I think they were happy with a point. Poor game, crap home support for 80 minutes as usual and a difficult exit from the stadium.

If they just blew for the corner and then gave the free kick or pen the players would get the message and stop doing it .
