I did notice it and knew it was factually wrong but I think he was separating 'taking money out of the club' with a working wage which he is entitled to. Thing is, if he's going to pay himself and make these repeated errors, he may as well pay an experienced dof rather than just ex-CPFC yes men. He won't though. This is a hobby as well as work and business. He loves it and won't pass it on. Edited by Rudi Hedman (19 Sep 2017 10.40am)

After reading this thread it's seems the only solution to appease the likes of Midland Eagle et al . Would be after the Chelski game SP is led shackled hand and foot to a pyre which should be constructed in the amphitheater of the narsasistic fanzone (only built to fleece the hardworking underclass of a few shackles). Where before being burnt to death be given a chance to once more repent his sins and ask forgiveness from the HOL trolls. In addition those 2 damed Yankees who do chose to invest 50 mill or so to fund the redevelopment of Selhurst Shed and correct 30 yrs of non investment. Should be put on a CIA flight to Crapvile Iraq, handed over to ISIS and beheaded before being thrown from the top of a mosque (all filmed live for al jazz and ytube). Only then can we really return to our DNA of perpetual diss appointment, administration 12 thousand turning up match day and the anticipation of a Tuesday night away at Yeovil. Benteke hits the sitter and we draw at Anfield. 23 shots on goal at Turf Moor 23 Shots on Goal Benteke, Dann, or ANYONE hits a goal or 2 we have at least 4 points. Now back to Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) Why didn't he back Frank de Boer??? That's the reason we're in the situation we are in. So you can believe the BULLS*** Saint Steve (genuflect when you say that) spews. I will continue to question Parish's nonsense. Crack on mate - you continue to 'question his nonsense'. Great support. What a genuine wally. 'Member since February 2017' - says it all really. Only here for the good times? Only here for the success? Well I'll stand with a LOT of people when I say you've chosen the wrong club to support mate. Edited by Calzardi (19 Sep 2017 10.22am)

What would actually appease me was if stupid oafs were stopped from posting nonsense on this forum. Would you care to let me know which of my posts in this thread are anti Steve Parish? Was it this one? Originally posted by Midlands Eagle
Whilst much of the mess in this window can be attributed to the chairman surely the situation was different in the previous August window as we had an established manager who supposedly knew what he wanted so we can't really put all the blame on Steve Parish for that window Or perhaps it was this one:- Originally posted by Midlands Eagle
We actually had the same pit of money on the last day of the transfer window when we tried to do a couple of deals as we did a month earlier so the lack of a backup striker had nothing to do with funding Or this one in response to someone posting that SP didn't have the luxury of sitting at home doing nothing:- Originally posted by Midlands Eagle
Why should he have the luxury of sitting at home when he is the chairman of the company earning a salary of £650,000 a year. This man that you claim "gives everything to this club" actually earns an annual salary probably larger than most people earn in ten years and it's his job to foresee problems and sort them out. Or perhaps it was this one:- Originally posted by Midlands Eagle

Edited by kev64 (19 Sep 2017 10.20am) Forget all that, funny as it may be. Employ someone who knows more than he does about football. Even if it's advice and SP makes the final call, it's better than the recent repeated cluster fvcking.

However, if there's money going on SP running the whole club, can't there be a big wage on a real, proper, experienced dof who says it how it is, with possibly SP having the final say, as long as he doesn't break continuity.

I think a lot of the Parish love brigade are missing the point, The majority of the anti Parish people on here who are frustrated with the repeated mistakes at the highest level have a genuine wish for our club to succeed at this level and frustratingly see no improvement in where we are season after season. Where Parish is concerned I think the majority of us rank his performance over the past few years as similar to Jordan Mutch on the field, And I don't see anyone here moaning about level of stick Mutch gets on here for his underperformance. I am sure he is doing his best, But to be honest if the Cap fits (in Parish's case) wear it. For some reason he is living in the past and relying on the history of promotion under his leadership, He has been in charge for some dreadful management and transfer deals, And as the saying goes you are only as good as your last job, He needs to realise his shortcomings and get help from someone who actually knows the ins and outs of football, Its probably a disadvantage being a supporter as it must be so tempting to want to get involved. I don't think anyone is calling for him to severe ties with the club or to resign, , Just get some fcuking help before its too late, He is not capable Edited by Medway Eagle (19 Sep 2017 11.19am) Edited by Medway Eagle (19 Sep 2017 11.22am)

I'm quite pro-Parish (I say quite because I am under no illusion that he hasn't made a few mistakes) but I agree with what you are saying. It also seems like the kind of constructive suggestion he was asking to hear from the fans, rather than just criticism. I have my doubts whether he'd displace Dougie with the type of person you suggest, but I agree that it's a good idea.
