Sam and Sammy's Red 'n' Blue Army?

We don't do possession; we do defense and attack. Everything else is just wa**ing with a football.

Just watching the replay - this was an awesome match. Palace OWNED Arsenal. Out-dribbled, outsmarted, out-scored. Let's see how smug our Arsenal friends are now about lowly Palace? And after all these years...

Disagree moves his leg across to the keeper if it was against us I'd be pissed.

On a separate note was there a handball in our area just before that? Form where I was sat it looked like one of our players touched it.

If Townsend's move had been performed by Sanchez or Wellbeck, they'd be getting praised for their effort to beat the keeper to the ball and draw the contact - which is what we should be praising Andros for. We've seen them given against us....so many times that it makes me sick. Also, Snodgrass.

Ironically, we got away with a blatant, deliberate handball by Townsend vs. Chelsea. Here, Sakho was going to ground to try to block a shot, so his arm was in a natural position (for someone falling) and thus no penalty.

That's a fair and square win by us. We have 30% of the ball but almost doubled them up in shots and had more on target. They had nothing on target in the whole second half when they were already losing to a perfectly good goal, so there's that.

conversely, Arsenal had 70%. most of it digging the ball out of their net and then letting their fans keep hold of it lmao

I agree with that incident, there was another after that before ours I was asking about but apparently no contact.

From Block Y, it looked like a stonewall penalty. Haven't seen the replays, though.

The game was quite free of controversy and only 1 yellow card.

The ref perfectly positioned to see the foul it was just an error by the goalie.

How many times do we see goalies rush out and give away penalties often when the attacker is moving further away from the goal.

Great to see Palace play such good football I loved Wilfs skill near the end making a complete charlie of 2 Arsenal defenders.

I doubt if its on sky though.

Never a pen. Townsend was going down before his leg (purposely) made contact with the keeper. If it were a player for one of the top four clubs, pundits would laud the clever player for 'drawing the foul' but it's still a dive in my opinion. Well done Townsend!!

A certain Andrew Johnson was the maestro.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

IMO Big Sam's game management we spot on. Right subs at the right times. So nice to see the manager actually paying attention.

Given The games coming up I think. He could have made them a little earlier. It's going be a tough month and high energy players in particular like Wilf and Andros, are going to be knackered by the end of it.

We still missed Jedi I feel - There was one area Arsenal outdid us in all night, menacingly groomed facial hair. He would have put Walcott and Giroud to shame.
