Just got in. Had a beer in the Bournemouth bar and their supporters felt we deserved it and we're worried about being hauledinto the relegation places.Team played well and we're happy as they got on the coach. Definitely been drilled and back five were almost in a straight line for many defensive moments.Deserved it tonight. Safe journey home!! I watched it on tv, and noticed that throughout. They were constantly talking to each other and much more communicative than they have been. They looked far more organized too. I live in hope.
If you come to a fork in the road, take it. |

Missed Dann's goal while having a piss. They don't have replay screen either at their piddly little ground. Didn't care though as was down the front to celebrate in the corner with the players as I can running out the bog. Few people were getting heavily handled and ejected down there for Benteke's goal celebrations. Hope no one got hurt.

A vast improvement defensively. Rarely let Bournemouth in behind and kept concentration levels high. Van Aanholt looked quality and fitted into the system perfectly. A special mention for Wilf. He's added graft to his game and is starting to look like a team player but with exceptional skills. Also well done to Andros Townsend for the second goal. More of that and he won't need to think about leaving. We deserved the points and now have something to build on. Congratulations to SA - it looks like the medicine is starting to take effect.

On that brief performance he looked like a player who definitely doesn't want to be living up north again

This post has been merged from a topic called 'Kevin Fiend ' by Midlands Eagle Allowed Defoe's first goal despite obvious pullback on Fosu-Mensah to get run on goal, booked palace players at will, didn't give Begovic red even though he was last man and goal scoring opportunity and denied Zaha clear pen at 2-1. Ref's usually get plenty of apologists but their inactions carry a disproportionate amount of weight, particularly for a team in our position..

He missed lots of fouls though, I just come to expect it of them now though
