Supported Palace for over 69 years since the age of 7 and have seen all the ups and downs and will probably see many more ups and downs before I go up to the big football club in the sky. |

Perhaps we should be told what happened to incense Jedi so much that he got Pardew by the throat towards the end of last season and was told he would never play for the club again...hence being ditched as captain by text. Before anyone says anything about Cup Final I maintain Jedi would not have played of Fellaini was not in the Utd team that day.

Really? Wow, I like the sound of this. Tell us more. Unfortunately that is all I have been told. Someone I speak to weekly has inside contacts. I know I will probably be "hammered" on here for not being able to furnish further info but the person who told me is a respectable person who would not make things up. It would explain the captaincy issue, Jedi's exit and the apparent loss of team spirit.

And that's something that is Pardew's fault? As a rule, generally its up to the perpetrator of violence to mitigate or justify their actions, not the victim.

Are you sure you can't tell us just a bit more?

So just of out interest, who would you blame? Pardew presided over the worst run weve ever had in 2016, any other manager in the league would have been fired long before Pardew was.....WHO would you blame? Everyone. Buck stops with the manager, but this was a team that was competing for Europe, prior to going on a plunge down the league and in form. It did seem in late December that Pardew could do no wrong. Now he's the pariah outcast leper. I don't think it was just his blame to shoulder.

I do not believe Jedi would be so unprofessional to assault the manager without good reason...maybe he had the club at heart more than the manager. He may have been able to justify, I don't know. From my source, it is apparent that AP ( I was a big supporter of his) was more about himself than the team.
