My point is that you are saying we're under-equipped in every area, to which the only response would be to sign loads more players and go over the 25.

Employee of the month is a good example of how someone can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.

That is a very good point, but I think the fact we still had to play Dann and Zaha shows our squad depth is limited. The players who suffer from the lack of games in our squad aren't good enough for us (Fryers, Mutch and Sako). The only people who lose out are the youngsters, which Pards has made clear he doesn't want to play.

In last night's squad, Southampton had 4 'Home Grown' players, I think the oldest of which is 22.

We are carrying Fryers that's why. If we had a decent cover and not him that would be enough and the concern for until Tomkins or Dann are back wouldn't be so bad. I bet we could loan him out for part of his wages. Now we're short he's not even a consideration so why in the squad in the 1st place?

I meant 'losing out' by us going out of the EFL Cup, which doesn't matter for us as Pards clearly doesn't want to play our home-grown players.

The ones closer to 1st team football are on loan so he can't.

Choice of 2 league cup games for 4 months or week in week out competitive and physical 3rd or in time 2nd tier football to get them and see if they can hack it. Lampard, Beckham etc all had to do it.

Williams, Boateng and Kaikai have already done that several times, though. The few times they played for the firs-team, they looked up for it. Not gonna lie, but I'd rather Williams over Mutch and Kaikai over Sako.

Lampard went on loan to Swansea and Beckham to Preston.

Boateng you have a point but for him to get a regular run he'd be waiting for periods of 3 of the top 5 midfielders to be unavailable. Then when one of them is back he's out of the team again whereas they can get 30 or more, hopefully 40 games on loan.

We're almost in that position now with Tomkins and Dann out, Fryers being a waste of time and Ledley or Flamini possibly filling in at full back but Tomkins and/or Dann will be back within 2 and 3 weeks so Boateng would get 2 goes and out again.

1. typo - you know what I meant (aren't you clever!).
2. how have I had a go at Mandanda? I've only seen him once so to say I haven't yet formed an opinion is a fair comment. Certainly fairer than your racist comment!

I didn't say you did have a go at Mandanda, I clearly eluded to the fact that you would wait in the wings for him to make a mistake, then dive (pardon the pun) to the defense of your beloved WH whilst taking the opportunity to have a pop at Pardew at the same time.

If any clarity is required with the above, please refer to your numerous posts on the highlighted subjects.

Then you are wrong, and you have me mistaken for Brentmeister General and his unnatural hatred for Hennessey. I have no feelings either way - I just want the best players for Palace and last season Hennessey was the best goalkeeper we had and I argued that fact. Now he probably isn't.

I really don't see how they are losing out by missing ONE league cup game against very good opposition (chances are we'd still lose).

So if they're not on loan and they're out of the cup, what do they do from now until Jan? Nothing!

None of them are ready yet for the Premier League so they should be out on loan at lower leagues, which they are.

If they are good enough he will play them.

Wouldn't mind seeing Dreher in a couple of games mind but tough to know when to put him in.

Fryers has been on the bench in the last two league games. Maybe he is back in with a shout of redemption.
