Would be a definite upgrade on what we have, he can score, cross a ball, beat a man, and works his socks off. Still mystifies me why England took Sterling, and not Townsend.

No, I want lethal shooting Townsend on the bench as back up for zaha who side foots the ball into the keeper and Bolasie who lashes the ball at the advertising boards at the back of the stand. And not beating a man 3 times and never delivering the ball in the corridor of uncertainty, mixer or head of striker. What's that all about? Maybe his lack of showboating might rub off on the others.
