Staffie, I have a bit of a challenge for you, this one's a bit obscure. The artist Béla Fleck made an album of collaborations with African musicians to go with the film he made of the same name: "Throw Down Your Heart". I was wondering if it appeared on any of your sources; i'd be most grateful. Mongo

Todays first download is a set by Alice Cooper which was recorded on the North American "Killer" tour. This show was recorded at the Commack Arena, in Long Island, NY on the 22nd April 1972. This is in superb quality and sounds great - the only problem with this bootleg is that it's not long enough - it's not the whole show!. This is only part of the set - and this ends abruptly after a minute of the track "Is It My Body".... Still, what we do have is classic Alice - with a cracking version of "Schools Out" which at the time of this bootleg was doing very well in singles charts around the world... the song that really put Alice on the musical map..... Todays second download isnt a bootleg but it is a live album. This is Frankie Miller - Live in Concert on BBC Radio 1 in 1994. I posted a bootleg by him on Saturday just gone and then I spotted this one - so I decided I'll use it as an extra download. A good set by FM and his band.... a great cover of Roxy's Jealous Guy on this one... Todays extra download is the first bootleg or album I've posted by this band. They are called Suicidal Tendencies and they come from Venice, Los Angeles, California. They were founded by Mike Muir - who is the only permanent member of the band. They were formed in 1981 and they have released 10 albums to date. This is a show they did at the Paradiso, Amsterdam in 1987. This is only part of the show - all that was recorded and it only lasts 20 minutes. There's some great guitar work by Rocky George on this one.... Here is a pre release of the new NOW 77 album. Pre release means that it's uncertain if this is the final tracklisting and order. If this link goes down it will not be reposted until the album is actually released. The album is due for official release on the 22nd November.
