Cheers Penge. Fortunately I've been supplementing my horse racing fund by backing Raul to score first, etc... phew. (By the way I see yer man from 365 got a bet wrong for once -- he tipped Wolves to go up! hahahahaha)

A real bunch of losers running today, and I might not make many (if any) bets. Reluctantly, I propose today's nap will be Rhythm of Life in the 4.20 on the Redcar Jackpot card.

Palace related nags? Trevor's Spree (Br*ght*n 3.30) and First Eagle (Southwell 2.40).

At last -- A WINNER!

The price was quite modest - 13/8 - but a £1 stake would bring in £2.63 in winnings. So now after three days of an even £1 stake I would be only 37p down.

I also had a nice double at Southwell on Piccled (5/1) and Dust To Dust (5/2), a 20/1 combination. But I didn't tell you about them as I wasn't at all confident.

Well it's the Guineas meeting at Newmarket opening today, and AP McCoy has only one runner, so today's nap is in the big race.

Millenary in the 2.50 at Newmarket.

The only Palace related horse I could find is the frankly awful Classic Eagle (Folkestone 4.10).

Bad news Doug!! The Plumpton race has been REINSTATED as the Jockeys Club decided the "offending rail was not correctly marked on the racecourse plan"

Does that mean my accumulator will change again!?!?

Had a reasonable win last night, accumulator on
Copenhagen to beat Vejle, Helsinki v Jazz, Odd Grenland v Start, Stabaek v Bryne and Viking v Moss!!!! Won a whopping £8.82!!

The 5.10 should be an interesting race today as well!

No -- apparently all bets are still off. (Just be thankful you didn't back the "winner".) But the prize money and the form book will reflect the result.

Fancy Judgement today in 2.15 at Newmarket. What do you reckon?

It's got to be either that one or Moon Ballad. Time for a forecast perhaps?

Ah. Um. Er, yes, that would be the smart move.

(Apart from not making a bet at all, of course!)
