Reformed smokers You've decided to stop smoking so everyone else near you should aswell Jesus christ, this is a Football game, where people drink, swear and smoke, it's not a bloody child daycare centre. If you don't like smoke, i suggest you sit elsewhere.

Those of you who think there is a compromise, there isnt. I had a cigarette at my seat on saturday and nobody complained. Nobody even muttered a word. I believe the whole of the upper HOL is smoking and a couple of blocks in the lower tier are smoking as well. That leaves 3 stands in the ground where you can go and be non-smoking. Sorry but you cant tell other people what to do. E

Only half of the upstairs is smoking..... I smoke, and I sit in a smoking block to allow me to do so. Er, that's it.

It sounds to me (im sorry if im wrong) that the non-smokers imagine that all the smokers purposely smoke in their faces, i can't speak for everyone but when i was in the holmesdale for a game i did smoke, and i did see that some people may not be smokers so did try to blow downwards so they didnt get smoke. But at the end of the day most people hate something whether it be drinkers, smokers, druggies someone will be annoyed, and you can't please everyone, so you have to take a back seat sometimes.

i don't like having smoke in my face all the time, but then it is only for a small time of the week. When i selected my season ticket seat i wasn't to know that i would have to put up with this, and if i were to move i wouldn't be able to move elsewere in the holmesdale but i would have to move to one of the other stands which i do not wish to do. But end of the day, smokers are well in there rights to smoke.

"Typical non smoker/reformed smoker" What an arrogant statement. Why don't they make all the crappy wooden seating areas smoking areas and let the smokers move about instead of the non-smokers. Why should non-smokers have to move because sopmeone can't keep a cigerette out of their mouths for 45 mins? An to be honest, smoke yourself to death if you choose im sure most non smokers couldnt give a flying f***, however we'd rather not go down with you and drag our kids the same way. Just awaiting barraige of abuse baring contradictions and "alright for some, f*** the rest" attitude

The smell of smoke at a football match on a cold, gloomy saturday afternoon is fantastic! I used to love it as a kid it contributes to the atmosphere. Lets ban anti smokers and anyone whos PC instead.

I heard having a barbeque is equivalent to passive smoking non-stop for 2 years. Passive smoking is SO insignificant in terms of health. Especially outside. You face a greater risk every time you cross a road.

There are more non-smoking seats than smoking - all the Main Stand, Whitehorse, and more than half the Holmesdale (only blocks A-D are smoking) so the simple answer is go to a no smoking area well said, a large part of the ground is for non smokers, please leave us smokers alone go sit somewhere else and go jump on another band wagon
