2 great assists from Palace players, great flick on from Guehi leaving Bellingham the easy bit and then Eze superbly found Toney for the second.

Best headline has to go to the Sun "Saved by the Bell"

Except they were referring to Southgate and meant bell end.

I know it’s not what was asked, but two palace managers played in the same team in Spain 82, Sir Steve and Trevor Francis, although at the time they didn’t know it

Is it just me or is watching England like watching Palace under Roy?

Our boys must be in disbelief as that thought they left that s***e behind them.

It's not just you.

The players haven't performed, but the set up and slow and pedestrian approach haven't helped.
Nonetheless, a pathway to the final has opened up having been placed in the easier side of the draw.

I was amused by Southgate's claim that he always saw an equaliser coming almost as if it was all part of the plan.
Politicians and football managers have a unique way on viewing events.

Still smiling at Eze playing left back during 1st overtime. Put in a good shift, but I'd have to say looked a bit out of place.

Why has Gareth Southgate suddenly turned into Peter Taylor? Are aliens involved?

It is not just you. Sadly Gareth Southgate is taking the inflicting of doubt and pain on supporters to a higher level than Roy would usually manage.

No, it’s me too. Smartass, I’m so sophisticated and clever Royball. He has a cunning plan. Play it safe. Just get through. Win the trophy on penalties after a 0-0 draw. Idiot. Spain will win this.

Watching England it doesn’t seem likely, but boring has won this competition on a few occasions. What happens to Southgate if that should happen.?

Well, his contract runs till the end of the year(sky/bbc). I thought it was the same as players, 30th June. Didn't he say that if we went out he won't be there anymore?

This operation, will make the 'Charge Of The Light Brigade' seem like a simple military exercise.
