I'd take anyone who would improve our squad and he would.

We play a fast pressing game Wilf had admitted in interviews that these days he conserves his energy I just don't see where he would fit into the team slowing down our attack. He was top dog at palace and rightly so but time has moved on he has a big ego so I can't see him happy to play understudy with a 20 minute cameo at the end of games. Thanks for the memories Wilf you are the GOAT but it's like meeting your first love after 20 years, you're both going to be disappointed. Edited by Badger11 (30 Jun 2024 9.19am)

As to him coming back - it's a question as to whether or not he'd be willing to be an impact sub because he shouldn't be a starter given his inability these days to press high for most of the game. In any event, who would he replace if he were to start? Not Eze and not Kamada IMO and, if his transfer falls through, not Olise, obviously.

I think Munoz could deal with him We all know from experience Wilf doesn’t react well to someone who would keep snapping away at him, one little nibble at his ankles early on, he’d wave his arms around, have a moan at the ref and then go missing the rest of the game Love Wilf, but this was obviously his worse side and you’re right, Munoz would be just the player to bring it out of him Having said that though, if we sell both Eze and Olise, I’d have Wilf back here, even though it feels like, been there done that, shouldn’t really be going backwards
