Said something noteworthy in his interview: 'Palace have a lot of young, talented players and I want to follow the same trajectory they've been on'. As every window goes by we're becoming a bigger and bigger pull. If you go to Palace as a rough diamond, you will get game time, you won't be dropped for making your first mistake, and if you apply yourself you will set yourself up for international honours and beyond. That is a brilliant reputation to have and gives us a real edge over those teams we compete against who all have bigger budgets.

May have been the easy answer, but its clear to see why a young player would want to move to Palace. That does mean unfortunately that we need to allow others to continue on their trajectory. Otherwise the model loses its appeal.

It used to be lively and fast moving on here. It's a shame, used to have proper laughs and some of the ex posters are genuinely the nicest people I've met at matches.

The Athletic has an article on him starting with "Riad fits Oliver Glasner’s three-at-the-back setup. The Palace manager demands his centre-backs be comfortable on the ball, exhibit aggressive front-foot defending and engage further up the pitch. Riad is comfortable playing under pressure and can initiate build-up play. He most noticeably excels with long passes that can bypass pressing opponents and create 1v1 opportunities in wide areas." Seems like he will fit the system well

Looking at clips he is almost exclusively left footed.

I suspect if Guehi doesn't extend then his playing in the Euros (and hopefully doing well) should result in several suitors and maximum value for us.
