Tottenham are short of left back options and had to play a right back and centre half in the role when the first choice player was injured.
If they're releasing Sessegnon you have to assume that his fitness issues are a significant part of the decision.
It certainly wouldn't be reasons of ability as he was one of the best young left sided players around.
With that in mind he may be worth a pay when play one year deal, with an option to extend.
Doesn't mean he would accept this arrangement though.

i would have a look at him, when his contract has finished, see what he is like in preseason

The Ryan Sessegnon Suite. Yep that rolls off the tongue. The naming rights are up for grabs after a recent departure.

Renamed from the Nathan Ferguson Rehabilitation suite.

Clickbait resurrecting this one again (but then he needs resurrection given his woeful injury record)

The links are likely only because he - or a fit version - would be a need for Palace.
The fact that Spurs released him without any extension suggests it would be a real punt. Maybe, no one else commits and we can give him a look preseason after a voluntary medical; but he may well not be fit enough for that

In the sense that he would be too unfit to get to the the clinic?

If he is fit why would Spurs release him? As far as i can see they did not offer him a new contract so presumable the Spurs medical team are not optimistic.

It's a no from me.

Latest update is that he's training at the club. Glasner is a long admirer of him since his Bundesliga loan spell

He is very injury prone so I can't see him being anything more than a backup. He is versatile so could fill in for our full backs or wingers.

I think this is a sensible move. Get him in and have a look at him.
If he does well and his injuries are not a big issue happy for a short term pay as you play deal. Not dissimilar to the Clyne situation 4 years ago and he's still here and has played c80 games over that period.

Still only 24 but has all the hallmarks of being another Ferguson. Worth taking a look. Certainly a useful addition if fit.
