I tip my hat to monkey and martin2412. Much funnier suggestions than mine. Given that Mt. Rushmore is for leaders, I've gone for 4 former Palace leaders, albeit only 'in my time': Ian Evans Almost made it: Mile Jedinak

If I’m allowed a 5th beatle as pete53 put it, I think I’d go for Venables as well, I know it was soured a bit when he left and his second spell was poor on and off the pitch,but for what he gave us in that few years in the 70’s he definitely left a major mark on the club, years ahead of his time as a coach

However, one of my all-time favourite football-on-TV memories remains Colchester, managed by DG, beating Leeds United in the 5th round of the FA Cup in 1971. Check it out on YouTube.

Arthur Wait Wait and Head got us to Division 1 for the first time ever, Coppell gave us great times and elevated the Club and Parish has overseen a minor miracle. Edited by The Dolphin (25 Jun 2024 7.05am)
