I think we should be inviting both Roy and Wilf back because without them we were going to get relegated…oh, hang on a minute

I agree with Elpis. As I recall, we had 27 points when Roy was relieved of his duties, so he had already effectively kept us up. OG has done a fantastic job, but he has been helped by the return of Olise and the arrival of Munoz and Wharton. I think most fans would like to see Roy Edited by auk (11 May 2024 11.19pm)

Someone said have him manage wards testimony next summer. I think that would be a good idea. On a side note our players look a lot fitter and less overweight since Roy left.

Appreciate what? 5 years of some of the worst football to ever be played on a football pitch? He done no more than any other average manager should do with that squad, he just done it in the most boring and dire way possible and was paid massively for doing it.

I will never forgive him for what he said about us being spoilt because he was unable to produce entertaining football. His ego was ridiculous. I hope his health is ok, but on footballing terms I am glad he's gone and I have little sympathy. Such awful, negative football before Glasner came. Just hope we can keep our best players this summer.

Sorry but Hodgson is past it. After what we've seen Glasner do, I very much hope Parish would look for another modern progressive manager in the unlikely event Glasner did go this summer.

I think if anyone is watching the FA Cup final today it appears that Roy is coaching Manchester United.

Which is why we are still in the Premier thanks to Roy. Edited by PZ Eagle (25 May 2024 5.19pm)

Roy does deserve a proper goodbye. People have been praising Glasner and so they should but we say if what Roy had he did not do well add in 2 new signings plus players returning from injury we performed.
Next season and the following will be the real tests.

Next season and the following will be the real tests. Let’s ask Mateta if he’d rather have Roy back. If Roy had the first team fit he’d just have ten different players behind the ball.
