If they chuck in an extra 20/25 mil then I guess maybe pay his wages for two years - if it's just to get him off the books. Otherwise don't think Sterling would be the kind of player we want. Surely Forest or West Ham can buy him anyway? I don't value him as anything over 20mil personally. Maybe Spurs can offer 10mil or so - he might fit in there. I see him as dressing room trouble we don't need.
Over recent years I find him better in internationals than at his club. He doesn't offer what he used to. He used to be brilliant but is now kind of average or around that. I'm surprised he's under thirty - he seems to have been around forever.
