Or they could feel not wanted and not make much effort. They are going to have trouble offloading most of them with the salaries they are on. Would Wan-Bissaka even garner 10 million now? He's paid as much as our best players

Would definitely take him back, I reckon he'd be perfect on the right side of our back three, allowing Munoz to bomb forward and pushing out wide to cover him. AWB will never be brilliant going forward but there's very few better tacklers in world football.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Would be great in that role

I fancy another goal fest, they’re a bit flakey at the back and we’re not exactly rock solid, so I’ll go 4-4

They are absolute Tom Tit this year and with us welcoming back Eze ,Guehi and possibly Lerma , we could see a repeat of 1972 i really fancy us giving someone a real spanking 5 0 or 5 1

I dont know how many old timers there are out there but i just feel the end of this season will pan out like the end of the 1977 season where we won 5 of the last 6 scoring 4 in three of them including away at Wrexham

Another old bugger

If it does pan out the way you say, it won’t be quite the same celebration as 77

You definitely wouldn't want him going forward. Have you seen the effort he makes to get back? It's on the Rashford level

Would anyone even be suggesting AWB if it wasn’t for the Palace connection?

Before we signed Munoz it seemed fair enough as we needed a right back. Probably now we need an understudy to Munoz. Hopefully a young player - maybe even one of our young players. Currently, Ward and Clyne are still squad options so it's hard to know exactly what we'll do. It looks like we might keep Clyne for the back three - it's hard to say. I also think Ward would be fine in the same role Clyne is playing currently.

I’ve not been too impressed at times with his performances for them, certainly doesn’t look like the player that we sold for £50 million.

Agreed that if Eze, Olise and Mateta all start we can beat anyone. Not only because of their obvious skills and link up play but because their presence seems to galvanise the rest of the team to play better and go for it more. It also helps now having Wharton in the mix to complement the 3 musketeers. He’s quickly become a vital cog.

Dreamland I know but I honestly believe that if we could keep them next season and add one or two (left wing-back) we could do a Villa next season and finish 6th.

Ps. I’m not knocking Mitchell with wanting a new wing-back. I just think he’s better as a left back.

Now they say that all of their players are fair game they will probably play like Gods!
Ratcliffe sent out a message - we can only hope that their players don't read the memo!
3-3
