Seven goals in today’s game. Any other team would expect to be first on Match of the Day but not us. Last again and to add insult to injury Murphy says “Sorry Palace but Eze won’t be there next season. He’s Champions League quality”. I’m done with this programme and their big team bias.

I can understand why the editor decided to put the Palace game last. There was nothing much riding on it. We enjoyed it because of the result.

That comment from Murphy did though make me annoyed, especially as he has generally been more generous towards us than most of his colleagues in the past.

Is it true? Nothing I have heard from Eze, either directly or leaked, has suggested playing in the Champions League is a priority. For England, yes. He seems to have his head screwed on, obviously loves playing, enjoys being part of the group and recognises there are things he can improve. Did you notice that after the game Glasner had his arm around him and was explaining in great detail some points which he wanted to get over immediately. No basking in a comprehensive victory but immediate coaching. He wouldn’t get that at a top 4 club!

I did see that and just as importantly he seemed to be listening!

If I remember yesterday correctly, Eze had a number of decent shooting opportunities which were all actually quite poor efforts, could maybe of had a hattrick or more with better finishing.

With full acknowledgement this may be controversial, I thought yesterday's game was very much representative of our new manager and not the players/an individual player dragging us through. You can see why Glasner has enjoyed success elsewhere and is still held in such high esteem by former clubs, most notably Eintracht Frankfurt fans.

The roles Eze and Olise are playing should allow them to excel, much like the rest of the team. Everybody looked happy out there yesterday and as though they were performing to the peaks of their ability. Players such as Clyne and Hughes were outstanding were many have written them off previously. Mateta looks transformed, Wharton is flourishing, the defence looks far more solid and our wing backs seem to be enjoying their new identities.

I've long held grievance with MoTD as the pundits obviously just watch the highlights and not entire games, so base their opinions off of that. Garth Crooks in his 'Team of the Week' too. I wouldn't get wound up about any one of them in particular, I feel as though it's a far less esteemed and important a role than we'd be led to believe. Take Sutton for instance, it's not even a personal, Palace related grievance from me. He's just bizarrely arrogant and thick as sh!t, it's embarrassing to witness.

Until we're fully embroiled in something dramatic, like chasing for Europe or a relegation battle, I don't expect us to be subject to much in-depth or expert punditry. It used to bother me but we should all be 'old PL heads' now after well in excess of a decade at the top. I just enjoy the successful period for our club and am long over other people's opinions based off limited insight.

COYP!! I'm still overjoyed after yesterday. The joy has returned.

Now Zaha's got a bit of green grass ahead of him here... and finds Ambrose... not a bad effort!!!!

There were similar pictures after Liverpool. But I have my doubts about your last sentence.

Dont know why anyone would care about what Danny Murphy comes out with , he was a very average player at the best , who blows him self up to be some kind of super analyst and tactical genius, which he is not . He is an ugly little leprechaun, get back to guarding your gold pot .

On reflection so do I!

Maybe though not directly from the manager whilst still on the pitch but by one of the coaching team.

Can't see Eze leaving myself for two reasons.

Firstly, the stats men at other clubs will see how profligate he can be with possession. There's been a few occasions where a mistake from him has led to a quick counter attack and goal. As much as I love him, we know he can drift in and out of games. Reminiscent of Wilf though they are of course very different.

Secondly, I gather that QPR take a 25% cut of any fee we get for him. If Eze doesn't have a buy out it will be like Zaha 2.0, with us holding out for at least £60m.

It seems likely we will have to sell someone in the summer. Right now the best of a bad scenario to cash in would be to sell Guehi if he gets minutes under his belt before the end of the campaign. Our other defenders have adapted well to the Glasner back five and Lerma even looks like he could fill in full time! Bank £50m for Guehi with two years to go and somehow keep Olise and Eze would be pretty dreamy.

Still unrealistic I know. We would need the core group to genuinely believe we have a chance of top six as well.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

When I watch match of the day I watch the highlights and when the so called pundits have their "analysis" I go to the kitchen get a cup of tea / beer and cake / biscuit then hurry back when the next game is on.

Same with sky sports / TNT I'd rather load / empty the dishwasher before and at half time rather than listen to them.

I suggest you all do the same or hit the mute button.

I watched MotD 2 this morning and just fast forwarded to the Palace game.

As others have said, there was nothing really riding on this game so I can understand the running order.

I record it and fast forward through the dim-witted analysis. Anyway I only watch if we win.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Watched it for the first time in ages. No jug ears so thought we would get kudos. Last on again and the basis of the discussion was how good Eze is and he should leave as he is too good for little old Palace.

Not going to watch again. Nothing changes even after a 5-2 win.

Last weekend MOTD2 was glowing about Palace. In the past, Danny Murphy has praised good Palace performances on a number of occasions. The running order was perfectly logical in my view and as others have stated.

I'm no great fan of MOTD, particularly given Lineker's permanent residency, but on this occasion I find the opening post to be unjustified.

Quite. Hard to recall them being more positive about us than after the Liverpool game. Would we have got that level of praise on Liverpool TV... sorry... Sky?
