IMO, Everton will have a big shout as to who goes down.

They have to play both Luton and Forest. That only leaves 4 games for each of them.

I have 32 as down so 33 safe.

i love it when the relegation teams get Draws with Each other. It sucks points out of the bottom of the Table.
Having said that, Everton to beat the other two would surely be doing us a favour.

but as usual, its madness to be hanging your survival dreams on the performances of other teams. You really need to focus on domestic matters. Just one good victory and we can relax. Having put 2 goals past the Citeh keeper- at the Etihad, we can hurt any team on a good day. Also, our Defence has enough quality for us to get a tiny bit of good luck on a sunny day. We are not Sheffield.

Survival Sunday, the final day of the Prem, will see Eagles in flip flops and jogging up and down with a hangover. Either that or us needing to not lose by a seven goal margin. A straight 2-0 defeat will be enough to keep us up.

Let's get thru the game at Anfield with no more injuries (careful with Olise), then we should be good enough to pick up points in some of our remaining home games. Enough to stay up.....

and if Glasner the Glazier needs to play Roy-ball to achieve survival, so be it.

Entertaining football is a luxury we currently cannot afford.

A win and a draw will do it, hopefully either today

Next weekend is going to be the one that really sets the stall. Everyone down the bottom has a game that they'll have been eyeing up for points.

Luton v Brentford
Sheffield Utd v Burnley (Irrelevant really)
Everton v Forest
Palace v West Ham

If the results end up as Luton, Forest, West Ham then everyone is in it and our games against Newcastle and Fulham are era-definingly important.

If they end up as Brentford, Everton, Palace then it's far from over but Forest and Luton need to do something very special to drag anyone else in - especially as I expect Everton to get 3 points at home to Sheff Utd in a few weeks.

To answer the poster it's 3 points fewer than was the case before KO today.

And now that we've won the most difficult of what were our 7 remaining fixtures, how many out there are still thinking we can't win another game? Willo & Co, I talking about you.

Totally agree i never understood the mentality of those saying we were not going to get another point and how Luton were going to suddenly produce title winning form , totally non sensical. Anyway if anybody is interested we are now 200/1 to go down. You might as well close this thread down[

Given the result and the way we played today we should not be going into any game remaining this season fearing the worst.

We just need to keep the players fit, plus we have Richards, Guehi to come back I suspect Doucoure won't be available until next season.

West Ham, Wolves, Fulham, United and Villa are games we can get something from.

Newcastle is abit more difficult given their form at present.

West Ham had a bad result today. If they go out to Bayer Leverkusen in Europe, they could well be deflated.
