For me he'd be first on the team sheet. Boy has the natural talent to go all the way to the top.

I predict he'll be our highest ever transfer fee.

I still cant believe we got him for £20m , the kid is an class act

Yep! Great buy, well done Dougie.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Anyone that has seen his first two games for Palace would know he is an absolute cert starter and has already added £10m to his transfer value.
Fantastic business by our club- well done Dougie!

Looks a class act in the few games he’s played, rarely makes a loose pass or gives the ball away, can only improve. We could sell him tomorrow and make a profit.

If he develops into a box to box holding midfielder instead of a defensive one then he will fill the most obvious gap in our play.

A successor to Watson, Cabaye and Bannon in the making and, if successful, will solve our goal shortage by providing the service all recent No.9's have lacked.

Man and boy Palace since my first game in 1948 sitting on my dad's shoulders

No pressure then

I know we winge about last minute deals etc etc, but to be fair, Dougie and his team (incl. the Chairman) have pulled off some bloody good deals over the past few years.

On current form he won’t get the ‘boot’
